FREE Tax Assistance for Individuals and Families

The United Way of the Quad Cities provides free tax assistance for individuals and families earning less than $57,000 annually through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program known as VITA at area organizations throughout the Quad Cities, Clinton, and Geneseo. In 2019, this program saved more than $1.1 million in tax preparation fees for area residents.

This year The Lensmeyer Learning Center at the Ascentra Home Office, 2019 Grant Street, Bettendorf, (the only location in Bettendorf) will be a FREE tax preparation site Tuesdays from 5pm-8pm, and Saturday from 9am-noon from Feb. 4 through April 7 (except Tuesday, March 24). People can schedule their appointments by calling 2-1-1 or 563-355-9900.
