Ascentra Credit Union is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a government agency. That means your deposits with us are insured to at least $250,000. 

The NCUA fund has the same purpose as the federally insured FDIC fund used by banks.
 
The NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) is an independent agency of the United States government. The NCUA manages the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). This fund is backed by the U.S. Government and insures Ascentra Credit Union member's accounts are safe and secure to at least $250,000.
