Ted Kurt Joins Ascentra’s Board of Directors

Retired credit union executive Ted Kurt joined Ascentra’s board of directors as an associate board member following our annual meeting on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

During Ted’s career, he spent more than 20 years affiliated with credit unions serving in management and executive roles.

Ted earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree from St. Ambrose University.  He’s also a graduate of the Credit Union National Association’s Management School and Financial Management School at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

He is a member of St. Anthony’s Church in Davenport, where he volunteers at the McAnthony’s food pantry and teaches financial literacy. He is also a member of the Davenport Horticultural Society, where he serves as treasurer.

Ascentra is excited to have Ted join our board of directors where his experience and education will enable the credit union to expand on and continue with member inclusion and education.  Please join us in welcoming Ted as our newest associate board member.
