Your security is our top priority and Tap to Pay is designed with your protection in mind. Here's how NFC (Near Field Communication) technology keeps your personal and financial information safe:

• Tap to Pay cards protect your information by generating a one-time, encrypted code each time a contactless card or payment enabled device is used, making it extremely effective at countering fraud.
  

• New Visa® Tap to Pay cards include secure chip technology, adding an extra layer of security to your transactions. Each time you use a chip-enabled credit or debit card at a chip-activated terminal, a unique one-time code is generated to authorize the transaction, enhancing protection for your information.
  

• All payment information is encrypted, ensuring that it remains unreadable to anyone unauthorized from accessing it.
  

• Tap to Pay has built-in transaction limits for higher-value purchases. Additional authentication may be required to ensure added protection.
  

The best part of Tap to Pay is its simplicity and security. You won’t have to worry about being charged twice if you accidentally tap your card more than once. Tap to Pay only works when your card is within two inches of the icon on the payment terminal, ensuring that even if you tap more than once, you’ll only be charged once.
